Guru 4 Utility uses Microsoft ActiveSync technology to synchronize your Guru 4 data with the Golf Guru Servers. If you already have Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) or ActiveSync installed your computer, then click here to skip this step.
Your Guru 4 uses Guru 4 Utility to communicates with the Golf Guru Servers, if you already have the latest version of Guru 4 Utility, then click here to skip this step.
Note: If you have previously installed any Guru 4 Utility software please first uninstall the previous version. XP Users - you may use Add or Remove Programs to remove previous installed version of Guru Utility or you may use the Start -> All Programs -> Golf Guru -> Uninstall Golf Guru icon.
Click on the Guru4 Utility shortcut on your computer's Desktop to start the Guru 4 Utility program. Connect your Guru 4 to your computer's USB port with the provided USB cable. Insert the small USB connector into your Guru and the large USB connector into an open USB port on your computer. Once Guru4 Utility detects the Guru 4 you will be prompted to login to the Member Area of the Golf Guru website.
Once you provide proper login credentials your Guru 4 will automatically be associated with your member area account.
Now that you're logged into the Member Area of the Golf Guru Website and your Guru 4 has been associated to your account press the Sync button to synchronize data between the Golf Guru Servers and your Guru 4. You will see a notification in the Guru 4 Utility log window when the sync process is complete.
Your Guru 4 is now ready to take onto the golf course, just disconnect the USB cable and tap the Golf icon to launch the Golf Guru application. Enjoy!
